Mabel Waisman was born in Argentina, in the city of Rosario, on the 19th of October of 1949. She died in Buenos Aires on the 26th of May of 2005. A plastic artist of notable career, that left a clear mark in the modalities of ceramics and glass. Pioneer in the use of coloured clay in pottery and sculpture, and introducer of glass-fussing in Argentina. She exhibited in Argentina, Uruguay, France, Spain, England, Portugal, Sweden, United States, Israel, Japan and China. Her artworks are held today in private collections, embassies, museums and institutions in Argentina, Uruguay, Italy, France, Spain, Israel and Japan.
